Clean Energy Fair
Saturday October 28th, 2006
From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Gloucester High School Field House
32 Leslie O. Johnson Road, Gloucester, MA

The schedule for the show is as follows:
Saturday, Oct. 28, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

There is a wide diversity of exhibitors including: energy efficiency programs and
tips, solar and wind installers, green roof installers, green building contractors,
cellulous insulation, biobricks, “green” architects, biodiesel demonstrations, and
much more! Also a list of current venders is attached.

We are going to have a number of great speakers such as Jonathon Abe from The
Massachusetts Technology Collaborative presenting and Erika Spanger-Siegfried
from Union of Concerned Scientists giving us breaking news on the Northeast
Climate Impacts Assessment which has been just completed. We are also going to
have a video theatre playing energy and climate related videos throughout the day.

There will be small presentations such as how to make solar shades and a
presentation on post and beam joinery.  Prizes from our raffle will be given out at
10:00, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00. As you enter the Fair there will be a collection of
alternative vehicles such as hybrids and an electric vehicle on display.

Also at the Fair, will be a kid’s area. We have tried to involve the youth as much as
possible in the fair manning booths, giving presentations, and volunteering.
Elementary School students will sing songs from a play based on the movie, An
Inconvenient Truth. There will be a puppet show and an area for kids (of all ages)
to play. A side benefit involving the youth is that it also brings their parents to the
fair.

Food:
Pizza, bottled water, and some snacks will be available for sale.
